Welcome and thank you for visiting our homeschool blog, we are excited to be on this journey with you and your children. We believe home education is one of the most important decisions that a parent can make If you are reading this blog, chances are, you are either weighing the decision to home educate your child or considering if public school is a better choice.

Let me first say that while we believe homeschooling is the best option for our family, it is not for everyone and it is certainly not easy. There are days when I revisit the homeschool concept and have my doubts as to my effectiveness as a teacher. There are other days when I witness my children’s growth as a student and person that confirm why we believe homeschooling is the only viable option for their education.

The purpose of this blog is to hopefully provide parents/teachers with the encouragement necessary to continue this difficult but necessary journey of Homeschool Education. Along the way I will document things that went well for us along the way and ways things did not. This blog will also provide some direction for those new to homeschooling (curriculums we use, schedules we adhere to, and of course what we do when things don’t go as planned on any given day).

Congratulations to you being brave in taking personal responsibility for your child’s education.
